ZonePRO solves this by announcing your heart rate every time it changes. Launch ZonePRO on your Apple Watch then tap the screen to start a workout. Just that simple. To stop, tap the screen again. View your workout stats on your iPhone that’s paired with your Apple Watch.

Zones are calculated using the Karvonen formula

Zone 1: 50-60% of maximum heart rate (Warmup / Recovery)
Zone 2: 60-70% of maximum heart rate (Aerobic Base)
Zone 3: 70-80% of maximum heart rate (Aerobic Endurance)
Zone 4: 80-90% of maximum heart rate (Anaerobic Capacity)
Zone 5: 90-100% of maximum heart rate (Speed Training)

MAX Heart Rate – (211 – 0.64 x Age)

example: (211 – .64 x 30) = 191.8
